1. Introduction

Welcome to GangPay. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the GangPay mobile application, website, features, content, and related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using GangPay, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use GangPay.

2. About GangPay

GangPay is a social expense-sharing platform that helps users create groups, organize shared expenses, track balances, split bills, and manage informal reimbursements between friends, families, teams, or other groups.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, GangPay is not a bank, payment institution, financial advisor, money transfer service, or credit provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use GangPay under the laws of your jurisdiction. By using GangPay, you represent that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
  • You will use GangPay only for lawful purposes.
  • The information you provide is accurate and current.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity under your account
  • Keeping your account information accurate and updated
  • Immediately reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity

5. User Content

Users may upload or create content including:

  • Expense lists
  • Group names
  • Descriptions
  • Images and receipts
  • Comments and notes
  • Profile information

You retain ownership of your content. However, by uploading content to GangPay, you grant GangPay a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, store, display, and transmit such content solely for operating and improving the service.

6. Shared Group Visibility

Information shared within a GangPay group may be visible to other members of that group. You are responsible for the information you choose to share.

7. Financial Disclaimer

GangPay provides expense tracking and calculation tools for convenience only. GangPay does not guarantee the accuracy of calculations, balances, reimbursements, exchange rates, or payment information.

Users are solely responsible for verifying all amounts before making any real-world payments or financial decisions.

8. No Responsibility for User Disputes

GangPay is not responsible for disputes between users regarding:

  • Shared expenses
  • Debt calculations
  • Reimbursements
  • Group participation
  • Payment obligations
  • Expense accuracy

Users are responsible for resolving disputes directly with each other.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use GangPay for illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • Upload offensive, abusive, or unlawful content
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or damage the service
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or harmful scripts
  • Upload malware or malicious code
  • Violate privacy or intellectual property rights

10. Third-Party Services

GangPay may integrate with third-party providers including cloud hosting, analytics, authentication, advertisements, or payment-related services.

GangPay is not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services.

11. Advertising

GangPay may display sponsored content, advertisements, promotions, or commercial offers within the app.

Sponsored content does not constitute endorsement unless explicitly stated.

12. Intellectual Property

GangPay, including its branding, logo, interface, mascot, visual assets, software, design system, graphics, and content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, copy, modify, or commercially exploit GangPay content without prior written permission.

13. Privacy

Your use of GangPay is also governed by the GangPay Privacy Policy and related data protection documents.

14. Service Availability

GangPay aims to provide uninterrupted service but does not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or permanent access.

Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, updates, internet connectivity, third-party failures, or events beyond GangPay’s control.

15. Account Suspension or Termination

GangPay may suspend or terminate access to the service if users:

  • Violate these Terms & Conditions
  • Misuse the platform
  • Create security risks
  • Engage in illegal activity
  • Harm other users or the platform

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GangPay shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Financial losses between users
  • Loss of data or business opportunities
  • User disputes
  • Service interruptions
  • Unauthorized access caused by user negligence

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GangPay, its owners, employees, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of GangPay
  • Your content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

18. Changes to Terms

GangPay may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions may be published within the app or website.

Continued use of GangPay after updates means you accept the revised terms.
